The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter <br />1125, Section 1125.01, Subdivision 10) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by deleting the <br />stfieke material and adding the double-underiined material as follows: <br />j. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter <br />1125, Section 1125.02, Subdivision 4(f) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by deleting the <br />sten material and adding the doublemundglined. material as follows: <br />f. A variance of this Zoning Code or the granting of an appeal shall be by a_simnle <br />ma.c rity two thirds (2/3) vote of the €u4 Planning and Zoning Commission serving as the <br />Board of Adjustment and Appeals. <br />SECTION 12. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the <br />following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance: <br />On , 2019, the City Council adopted Ordinance _ that amends Title <br />1100, Chapters 1102, 1103, 1104, 1105, 1112, 1113, 1123, and 1125 of the Mounds View <br />City Code. The purpose of the amendment was to update certain zoning provisions to <br />provide for clarification, remove outdated and unnecessary code language, and update the <br />code to conform to current City practices and state law, as necessary. <br />A printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection during regular business hours at <br />Mounds View City Hall and is available on line at the City's web site located at <br />www.moundsviewmn.o. <br />SECTION 13. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days from and after its passage <br />and publication, in accordance with Section 3.09 of the City Charter. <br />Introduction and First Reading by the Mounds View City Council on November 25, 2019. <br />Second Reading and Adoption by the Mounds View City Council on January 13, 2020. <br />623264v 1 MU210-54 <br />
