ROLL CALL: Kunz, Kroeger, Arel, Long, Peterson | Staff: Dazenski, DeBar <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA motioned Long Second Kroeger Pass unanimous. <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. November 18, 2010 Meeting Minutes Motioned Kroeger Second Long Pass unanimous. <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight’s agenda. Before speaking, please give your full <br />name and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. – None present <br />6. YMCA UPDATE <br />A. Program Updates – DeBar spoke, hired 12 warming house attendants, opening on <br />Saturday, over break open from 11am to 8 pm, during shool open 4pm to 8pm, weekends <br />11am to 8 pm, Taking signups for Zumba classes. Pat Prindle’s position is in the interview <br />porcess, registrations directed to Matt Bauman, other questions to Ashley Burke. <br />7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Review Layout for Park Building & Facilities at Lambert Park 6-1 recommendation to put <br />building in square to street. May look at steel roof and different flooring. We will have to put <br />out for bids. Plans will require certification, getting fee proposal for re certification of plan. <br />Plan to get site plan by January meeting. Estimate by DeBar $5,000 to $15,000. John <br />motioned: Recommend to not exceed $15,000 to upgrade existing plan to current code and <br />include feature options of floor layout, windows and steel roof. Second by Peterson. Pass <br />unanimously. <br />B. Review Schedule for Lambert Park Building Demolition/Construction. Nick’s overview: Need <br />to get architectural firm involved, Park commission my meet with the council on the 10th. <br />About 2 ½ weeks to update plans before the next park meeting in January, finalize any <br />changes by Feb 24th meeting, and then make an official recommendation to move ahead <br />with project. Present to City Council by March 14th, Council would then approve put out for <br />bids, Bids to be back in to council by April 25th. Council could award contract then, <br />Anticipated construction to begin May 16th, with anticipated completion by Sept 1st, Final <br />completion Sept 30th. Some discussion on steel roof, impact resistant windows. John had a <br />question on Contractor scheduling, urging to hold the contractor to a completion date. Nick <br />says he is confident. Funding discussion, John wants to point out that building would come <br />from Park Dedication Funds. <br />C. Review/Discuss Playground Replacement at Silverview Park. Steve discussed possible <br />moves of the playground. Hillview and Greenfeild are both similar in size, 55 x 100, <br />approximately the same size as the Basketball court. Steve stated the basketball court is in <br />decent shape. We analyzed positions, Either where Volleyball or Basketball court area. <br />Steve estimated $15,000 to relocate the BB court, but it gets more use. General thought is <br />to place new playground where the Basketball court is located. Thoughts include moving <br />basketball court to where volleyball court is, and moving the volleyball court to where the
