8. UNFINISHED BUSINES <br />A. Groveland Park – 2015 Improvements – update: Groveland building painted, windows <br />stained inside. Waiting for bid on carpet for Groveland and Random buildings. Spring plans <br />include cement around building perimeter, resurfacing tennis courts, grading after <br />construction is complete. <br />B. Hillview Hockey Rink – continue discussion of layout, rink light repairs – (No update at this <br />time). <br />C. City Hall Park - continue discussion on splash pad, playground, picnic area and shelters, <br />rest rooms, changing areas – update – (Staff continues to gathering information to present <br />to the Park & Recreation & Forestry Commission). There is room for a skate park, <br />playground, picnic area and splash pad. Could consider removable ramps and skate park <br />features made of metal or wood. Need to consider storage, metal is noisy, wood is easier to <br />damage. Staff will continue to look at costs for changing stations, water, etc. <br />D. Random Park Building improvements: Staff needs to pull repair costs together. Suggest <br />meeting at 5:30 at Random Park building before next month’s meeting. <br /> <br />E. Assign Commission Representative for 2016 YMCA Advisory Group Meetings-Gerald Arel <br />is willing to attend these meetings. Thanks, Gerald! <br /> <br />F. Discuss Agenda for Joint Meeting with City Council-We usually meet in the fall and other <br />times as necessary depending upon projects. See where we are with City Hall park <br />improvements for February PRF meeting, possibly meet with the Council at March Work <br />Session before Town Hall Meeting. <br />9. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Review Park Dedication Fund Balance: Need to consider long term budget and what <br />projects will be coming due on capital items such as playgrounds, buildings, and courts. <br />Commission needs to prioritize items. Staff is requesting the PRF Commission sit down <br />and go through the priorities of future projects. <br />B. Review 2016 Park Projects: To be discussed at next meeting with prioritizing. <br /> <br />10. Recommend Funding Request for Bethlehem Baptist Church Donations: <br /> Silver View-LED Lighting interior and exterior, new floor coating inside, security lighting for <br /> playground <br /> Random Park- furniture replacement <br /> Groveland-furniture replacement <br /> <br />11. COMMISSIONER REPORTS-None <br />12. REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS / OTHER BUSINESS <br />A. Discuss Disc Golf Course Modifications at Silver View Park <br />B. Coach of the Year <br />13.
