Obtaining quotes from <br />contractor’s project pushed out to 2016. <br /> <br />Random Park <br /> Replace Interior Furniture: Replace tables and chairs with new. 2014 Budget: $3,000 (PDF) – which is <br />funded entirely by BBC contributions (Nov. 2013). Staff purchased chairs and is looking at cost of new <br />tables as well as painting the interior of the building. Staff meet with Contractor through the National Joint <br />Powers Agreement to obtain a quote, staff has not received at this time. <br />City Hall Campus <br /> Splash Pad & Playground: City Council discussed at the Council Retreat the future plans of the parks and <br />grounds at City Hall campus including the splash pad and playground further discussion tonight item 7C. <br /> <br />Groveland Park <br /> Tennis/Basketball Court Rehabilitation (Design): Involves evaluation, design, and bidding documents for <br />option selected, to be constructed in 2015. 2014 Budget: $15,000 (PDF). Evaluating scope of work and <br />developing better cost estimates. To be completed in the late spring, early summer of 2016, staff will contact <br />the contractor and set dates to be completed, final site work by Northwest Asphalt, 2015 street project <br />contractor needs to be completed first. Clean up of some items in the park has been completed. <br />Trails/Sidewalk <br /> Hillview Road, Quincy Street and Jackson Drive (2016 Street project): Staff has been meeting with <br />engineering firm to design of streets and project. Bolton and Menk continues to work on design for <br />construction this year. <br /> Trail segments #6 and #11: City Council approved awarding contact to Bolton and Menk for design and <br />construction of Trail segments #6 and #11. Trail design to be completed in 2015 with construction occurring <br />in 2016. Staff had kick off meeting with engineering firm July 16, 2015. City Council approved the plans and <br />specifications and authorized the advertisement for bids. Bid opening is planned for May 3, 2016 and will <br />go to City Council for award on May 9. <br />Community Center <br /> ESP program: Financing has been approved and paper work in the process of being reviewed and signed, <br />the entire project will be completed by the end of August 2015. Staff is continuing to receive quotes for <br />the remodel project for the Community Center Offices and Prep-Kitchen. ESP project to start early August <br />and through October. Upgrades to LED fixtures has started, RTUs have been installed, controls and BAS <br />(building automation system) is being upgraded. Solar Panels installation date has yet to be set structural <br />engineer and roofing engineer need to sign off on location of solar panels. Some retrofitting of the joists <br />needs to be completed. The remodel of the offices and new prep-kitchen have been completed some small <br />punch list items yet to be done by staff. Solar Panels to be installed by the end of March. Starting March <br />18 through March 31 the Community Center will be closed for annual cleaning and upkeep projects. <br />Greenfield Park <br /> RCWD ARJD#1 Project: Rice Creek Watershed District is planning the re-profiling and repair of Anoka- <br />Ramsey Judicial Ditch No. 1 which runs through Greenfield Park. Also included is Branch No. 5 which is <br />located behind the baseball outfield and crosses below the parking lot entrance. Staff will be meeting with <br />RCWD to inquire the status of this work. Public Works Director Erickson discussed the status of this project <br />with RCWD and they plan on trying to complete this work in 2016; however, there are a number of details <br />that need to be worked out before this can begin including: timing to minimize impacts to the park and <br />where to put the dredging spoils. The goal is to complete this coordination by early April. <br /> <br /> <br />
