Public Works Staff Report <br />2/2 <br />City Hall Campus: <br />Irrigation & Landscaping Improvements: <br />• Playground equipment was approved and ordered. <br />• Received Splash Pad plans, contractor currently reviewing for installation costs. <br />• Continue vision planning <br />• Play Ground and Splash Pad on hold with weather. Shelter is being worked on, some <br />delays as all the parts were not delivered. Parts are shipped from Michigan. Contractor <br />works on building as parts are available. Main Playground and splash Pad to be installed in <br />2019. Works has started this spring. <br />• Work is under way, majority of playground equipment set and bases of spray features. <br />• A lot of work into the final prep of the playground/splash pad site, site cleanup and prep for <br />restoration, monitoring the operations and controls for the splash pad. Working out some <br />minor operational items with the vendor. <br />• New Picnic Shelters are being built, will be ready for next season rental. <br /> <br />Groveland Park: <br />Tennis/Basketball Court Rehabilitation (Design): <br />• Fred Kolkman working on plans and specs, a couple questions have been asked will be <br />discussed tonight. <br />• City attorney is review the contract documents <br />• Plans and Specs sent out to contractors – bid opening May 30th at 10:00am. <br />• Tennis Court Rehab Project started Wednesday June 27, 2018 <br />• Asphalt is down, fencing completed and coating will be completed <br />• Final Inspection of Punch list items on 10/25/2018 for Tennis/Basket Ball Court <br /> <br /> <br />Hillview Park: <br /> <br />• Hockey rink fence completed, Public Works staff completed installing the boards. Grading <br />and fill need to be completed. Depending on the weather the base may be a 2018 project. <br />• Ag-lime base to be completed in 2018. <br /> <br />Random Park: <br />Building Renovation: <br />• Staff continued painting exterior of shelter building, East side needs to be completed in <br />2018. <br />• Table’s selection made and ordered . <br />• Vandalism of front entry – discussion tonight. <br />• Contractor is in progress for repairing the building. <br />• Painting of exterior scheduled for fall of 2018. Completed <br />• Painted interior/ rest room repairs <br /> <br /> <br />Greenfield Park: <br />RCWD ARJD#1 Project: Rice Creek Watershed District is planning the re-profiling and repair of <br />Anoka-Ramsey Judicial Ditch No. 1 which runs through Greenfield Park. Also included is Branch <br />No. 5 which is located behind the baseball outfield and crosses below the parking lot entrance. <br />Staff will be meeting with RCWSD to inquire the status of this work. <br />• Scheduled meeting with RCWD for Monday July 30th for rain gardens and ARJD#1. <br />• RCWD has sent letters out cleaning of Judicial Ditch No. 1 to start <br />• Work is close to being completed <br />• Notified by the DNR that corrections to be made to the tennis court gate entrance – ADA <br />accessible. Fencing contractor scheduled for next month.
