SILVER VIEW PARK UTILITIES <br />MVCT REPORT <br />COUNCILMEMBER'S REPORT <br />CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT <br />MAINTENANCE STANDARDS <br />In <br />Staff reviewed SEH recommendations for <br />utilities at Silver View Park. The water <br />would be brought in along side the parking <br />lot with a 6" line from the County Road I <br />main source. The sewer would connect with <br />the main located at the east side of the park; <br />the same main currently serving the Manor <br />Homes Development. The electricity would <br />come from a terminal located across Silver <br />Lake Rd. Director Saarion stated that these <br />recommendations were made two years ago <br />and recently reviewed by SEH and City <br />Engineer Minetor. <br />SEH has predicted the approximate cost of <br />installation of all three utilities (water, sewer <br />and electricity) is $33,000: <br />Water $10,540.00 <br />Sewer 16,033.00 <br />Electricity 5,600.00 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Long, <br />seconded by Commissioner Silvis to <br />recommend to the City Council <br />approval for the installation of the utilities at <br />Silver View Park using Park Dedication <br />Funds to coincide with the construction of <br />the picnic shelter. Motion passed <br />unanimously: 4 ayes, 0 nayes. <br />Commissioner Silvis reported that rehearsals <br />for the "Sound of Music" have begun. <br />No report <br />Chairperson Burmeister reported that the <br />beach house was 99 percent complete and <br />that there was some special equipment on <br />order, such as metal doors and plumbing <br />handles. <br />Mayor Hankner asked the Park Commission <br />if they would be willing to meet with the <br />City Council to discuss the proposed parks <br />maintenance standards. The Commission <br />agreed to meet and asked that a date be set. <br />
