-2 - <br />As you can see the Mounds View Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department <br />administers three of the joint youth athletic leagues, which is more than any of the <br />other participating cities. Also, the City of Mounds View will overshadow all other <br />cities in team registrations once Senior Boys teams register. <br />The City of Mounds View Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is innovator of <br />the Senior Boys Softball League, Superball League, and On -the -Ball League. <br />Over the years, the Department has collaborated with other cities interested in <br />participating in these successful leagues. Clearly the City of Mounds View is a leader <br />in the forefront of youth athletic programming. <br />SUMMER SEASONAL STAFF <br />Summer seasonal park employees and beach lifeguards will be reporting for work on <br />Tuesday, May 29. The rest of the seasonal staff will begin the first part of June with <br />programs beginning the second and third week of June. <br />CABLE COMM=E <br />The Cable Committee met on May 17 to determine guests and topics for the second <br />production of "A View from the Mound". This is the agenda of the next production <br />which will be shot on Wednesday, May 23, 1990. <br />1. Ramsey County composting <br />2. Civil Defense information on tornadoes - Don Hodges <br />3. Forester Wriskey - Pruning <br />4. Introduce Eagle Scout Candidates and their projects. <br />5. On-site interview with Tony Jambor - Bel Rae Ballroom Polka Fest <br />Barb Haake will serve as host; Jerry Skelly, Sr., Director; and Jerry Skelly, Jr. and <br />Dale Irving, as technicians. <br />MS/SL <br />
