Forestry Assistant is using the old LUV truck which i. on its
last legs. The body is rusting out and the floor is full of
holes and the engine is tired. A new truck for thecrester
would enable the City to provide the current forestry truck for
use by the Forestry Assistant. With this plan each wculd have a
truck bed capable of caring the necessary size of materials such
as branches, trees and shrubs, mulching material, etc. The
trucks would be more respectable when in the public eye.
11. Additional Sprinkling at Greenfield Park ($1,200; - This
additional sprinkling would cover the area around tha playground
area and building to provide water for the landscaped bushes and
trees.
12. Installation Costs ($2,500) - for park equipment including
grills „ picnic tables, benches, glider swings and playground
equipment (if donated by a charitable organization) fcr Silver
View Park.
13. Weed Harvesting ($2,000) - Initiation of a program to
harvest weeds from Silver View Park pond is a top priority
indicated by residents living around Silver View Park.
14. Pathway Completion ($7,000) - This has been inc_cated as a
priority by a majority of City Survey participants anM is a top
priority by the Parks and Recreation Commission and S_lver View
Park Task Force. Completion of the woodchip path arc=nd Silver
View Park pond, finishing the two sections.
15. Lighting for City Hall Softball Field #2 ($39,OC:) - This is
suggested if the softball field #1 must me abandoned for any
reason or if the city feels that it would be more advantageous to
maintain one field versus two fields while still serv_ng the same
number of adult softball teams by the scheduling of fzur games
per night on one lighted field versus two games per night on two
unlighted fields.
