PRELIMINARY PARKLAND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />SILVER VIEW COMMUNITY PARK <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />MARCH, 1990 <br />FACILITY: <br />Horseshoe Courts <br />PRIMARY ACTIVITY/FUNCTION: <br />To provide space and facility for pitching horseshoes. <br />PLAN DESCRIPTION: <br />Based on the desire for activity areas nearer to the picnic shelter <br />picnicking crowds, the courts have been proposed at the western side of <br />the picnic shelter. <br />RECREATION CRITERIA: <br />The courts must be placed in a separate area away from the active area <br />of children. <br />GENERAL MAINTENANCE CRITERIA: <br />Construction to follow regulation horseshoe court measurements and <br />design. <br />GENERAL DESIGN CRITERIA: <br />See design diagram. <br />48 <br />
