PRELIMINARY PARELAND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />SILVER VIEW CONHAUNrly PARK <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />MARCH, 1990 <br />FACILITY: <br />Park Signs <br />PRIMARY ACTIVITY/FUNCTION: <br />Park signage will provide facility information to direct safe activity. <br />PLAN DESCRIPTION: <br />Recreational areas must provide information and direction regarding safe <br />participation. <br />RECREATION CRITERIA: <br />Signs marking the hiking and ski trails. <br />Signs directing users to facilities such as drinking fountains, rest <br />rooms, picnic shelters, volleyball, horseshoes and other areas. <br />Signs designating intended user groups such as wheelchairs, hikers <br />and picnickers. <br />Signs prohibiting activities such as motorized vehicles, glass bottles, <br />fires and golfing. <br />GENERAL MAINTENANCE CRITERIA: <br />Signs will be posted in strategic areas of the park to help direct use of <br />facilities. <br />GENERAL DESIGN CRITERIA: See examples of signs. <br />49 <br />
