I -i
MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE
SILVER VIEW TASK FORCE
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
CALL TO ORDER
ROLL CALL
Monday, April 16, 1990
Mounds View City Hall
7:00 p.m.
Lower Level
David Long, Deborah Ashworth, Adeline Lee, David Rademacher, George Andres, Ron
Fagerstrom and Mary Saarion.
PROPOSAL REVIEW
The proposal was reviewed. The Task Force identified projects and issues to add to
the proposal. These additions are described below.
1. Two path areas were identified as difficult to maneuver when wet. A bridge
and culvert remedy was suggested. These pathway passageways will be added
as improvements in the passive nature portion of the proposal.
2. The pond buffer area maintenance was discussed. Forester Wriskey conveyed
his concern that the recommended map of the pond buffer maintenance plan is
beyond labor capacity of the City presently. After discussion, it was requested
by the Task Force that a recommendation be written to include a seasonal
maintenance employee specifically for Silver View Park.
3. The Task Force would like to see an easement offering access for people living
on the south side of the pond to the library. This easement would lie between
the Manor Homes buildings.
4. The Task Force requested that a park concept map be added to define the park
function areas.
67
