Along with marching banc,,5
comes marching band parents and fans! This gives us all the opportunity to show off our
community.
In addition to bands, the parade will feature floats, horses, specialty units, clowns and more!
Mounds View businesses are encouraged to participate in the parade — build a float, drive an
antique car, ride a unicycle — be creative! The parade route will begin on County Road I
and Quincy and travel west to Mounds View Square where bands and other units will be given
refreshments. Mounds View Square Merchants Association is donating the space in their
parking lot for buses and trailer parking. The parade will also be cable cast on Channel 16.
Sponsors of the Parade include the Mounds View Lions Club and Western Bank. Western Bank
will also be participating in the parade. Additional sponsors are welcome as well as volunteer
participation in parade coordination on the day of the event.
