seconded by Commissioner Dentz to recommend relocation of the compost pile out of Arden Park. The motion passed unanimously. Two suggestions were made for relocation sites, one being near the golf course area and the other is on County Park property across from the HWY Patrol Building on County Road I just east of 35W. This site was thought to be primary and a priority site of the Commission. TASK FORCE UPDATES, RSCC & GOLF COURSE: Director Saarion updated the Commission on the progress of the Golf Course project and reviewed the master plan map. Also, Director Saarion updated the Commission on the stalemate position that the RSCC is in at the present time until a site can be determined for continued planning. PARK DED. FEES: Director Saarion reviewed the information received from Administrator Orduno regarding Park Dedication Fees for the addition to the Everest Development. Without the need for discussion, the Commission adamantly expressed their recommendation that full payment be'received for Park Dedication Fees for this atnd all future developments. Also, the Commission wanted to be sure that total payment be received up front rather than in installments. Commissioner Silvis made a motion seconded by Commissioner Long to recommend to the City Council that full payment of Park Dedication fees be received for the project with the added recommendation that all the money be received at once rather than in installments. Motion passed, 6 ayes, 0 nayes. BRAINSTORMING: Director Saarion requested Commissioner's thoughts regarding projects for 1994. A few that were shared included: 1. Continued work towards trailways. 2. Continued work towards a revenue producing recreation facility. 3. The construction of utilities and restrooms at the neighborhood park buildings to increase the use of the buildings for community activities and meetings. 4. Park paths - to pave paths at City Hall Park and Greenfield Park. 5. Replace bleachers that need replacement.
