seconded by Commissioner Dentz to recommend <br />relocation of the compost pile out of Arden Park. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Two suggestions were made for relocation sites, <br />one being near the golf course area and the other <br />is on County Park property across from the HWY <br />Patrol Building on County Road I just east of 35W. <br />This site was thought to be primary and a priority <br />site of the Commission. <br />TASK FORCE <br />UPDATES, RSCC <br />& GOLF COURSE: Director Saarion updated the Commission on the <br />progress of the Golf Course project and reviewed <br />the master plan map. Also, Director Saarion <br />updated the Commission on the stalemate position <br />that the RSCC is in at the present time until a <br />site can be determined for continued planning. <br />PARK DED. <br />FEES: Director Saarion reviewed the information received <br />from Administrator Orduno regarding Park <br />Dedication Fees for the addition to the Everest <br />Development. Without the need for discussion, the <br />Commission adamantly expressed their <br />recommendation that full payment be'received for <br />Park Dedication Fees for this atnd all future <br />developments. Also, the Commission wanted to be <br />sure that total payment be received up front <br />rather than in installments. <br />Commissioner Silvis made a motion seconded by <br />Commissioner Long to recommend to the City Council <br />that full payment of Park Dedication fees be <br />received for the project with the added <br />recommendation that all the money be received at <br />once rather than in installments. Motion passed, <br />6 ayes, 0 nayes. <br />BRAINSTORMING: Director Saarion requested Commissioner's thoughts <br />regarding projects for 1994. A few that were <br />shared included: <br />1. Continued work towards trailways. <br />2. Continued work towards a revenue producing <br />recreation facility. <br />3. The construction of utilities and restrooms <br />at the neighborhood park buildings to <br />increase the use of the buildings for <br />community activities and meetings. <br />4. Park paths - to pave paths at City Hall Park <br />and Greenfield Park. <br />5. Replace bleachers that need replacement. <br />
