Mr. Mack gave an update on legislative issues. The Metropolitan Council has requested $14.8 <br />,lion in state bonds in 1994 and 1995 for continued acquisition and development of the regional <br />park system. The Metropolitan Council has also requested legislation to modify the formula for <br />tax equivalency payments associated with regional park acquisitions. It was moved by Mr. <br />Botzek, seconded by Mr. Frank, that the Commission recommend support for the 1994 <br />Metropolitan Regional Parks state bonding request and the Metropolitan Council's tax <br />equivalency payments legislative proposal.
