Halloween Haunted douse Express <br />We will begin our evening with pizza and pop at the New Brighton Family Service Center. <br />After dinner we'll board the bus and head to two haunted houses in the local area, The <br />haunted houses will be the famous Anoka house and the other one will be in Champlin. <br />Come and join in on this fun and frightening pre -Halloween <br />special! Registration deadline is Friday October 23, <br />1998. <br />WHO: <br />Students in Grades 5 - 9 <br />WHEN: <br />Thursday, October 29, 1998 <br />WHERE: <br />Meet at Mounds View City Hall <br />TIME: <br />4:30 -10:00 pm <br />FEE: <br />$20.00 (includes two haunted houses, <br />pizza, pop, chaperones, & bus <br />FEE: <br />transportation) <br />Adaptive Recreation Club <br />The club is a program designed primarily for teens who <br />have mild mental and/or physical handi- <br />caps and are receiving special educa- <br />tional services through School District <br />• #621. The club is for teens ages 13 and <br />up. The program meets approximately <br />twice a month and provides a variety of <br />indoor and outdoor recreational and <br />social activities. Instructor ratio is 1 to 6. <br />Activity schedules will be mailed to participants. The <br />adaptive recreation club is a joint effort between the <br />Parks and Recreation Departments of Arden Hills, <br />Mounds View, New Brighton, Shoreview, Vadnais <br />Heights and the #621 School District. Participants will <br />bowl at the Mermaid Lanes on <br />t ' Saturday mornings from 10:00 <br />am - Noon. Staff will include two <br />supervisors plus volunteers. <br />The program runs for 10 weeks. <br />#,�k Participant fee covers bowling & <br />shoes. Supervision, awards and <br />banquet costs are provided by the Mounds View Lions <br />Club and the Light Brigade.
