1994 GOALS <br />PARRS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />1. WORK ON REDEVELOPMENT OF ARDAN PARK <br />a. Advocate moving the compost pile out of Ardan <br />Park. <br />b. Research into the possibility of obtaining the two <br />properties to the south of Ardan Park. <br />C. Once the compost pile is moved, meet with the <br />neighbors to gain input regarding park amenities. <br />d. Revise the Master Plan. <br />e. Develop a park development plan for Ardan Park <br />including budgeting, grant opportunities and other <br />funding for Ardan Park development. <br />2. IMPROVEMENTS TO PARK BUILDINGS <br />a. Develop a funding plan for the installation of <br />indoor restroom and new furnace for the park <br />buildings. <br />3. PURSUE THE POSSIBILITIES OF A PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ACROSS HWY <br />10 CONNECTING LONG LAKE ROAD <br />a. Recommend support for grant proposals for shared <br />funding of a pedestrian bridge. <br />b. Provide advocacy for the project. <br />4. DEVELOPMENT OF GOLF COURSE PARK <br />a. Plan a development of recreation uses for the <br />park, matching uses acceptable to wetland areas. <br />b. Devise a funding plan for the development of <br />amenities. <br />5. INSTALL A BRIDGE OR CULVERT OVER THE STORM WATER DITCH AT <br />SILVER VIEW PARK TRAIL. <br />a. Secure an engineering recommendation from SEH for <br />the most feasible choice. <br />b. Devise a funding plan. <br />C. Recommend action to the City Council <br />
