RESOLUTION NO. 9267 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN/DUCK KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />JESSICA LEE AND KJEL FARR, 2817 COUNTY ROAD H2 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 903, which amended Chapter 701 <br />of the Municipal Code to provide limited and controlled raising and keeping of chickens <br />and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single Family Residential; and, <br />WHEREAS, Jessica Lee and Kjel Farr have submitted an application with site plan <br />and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on their property located at 2817 <br />County Road H2; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it appears to meet all <br />requirements set forth in Ordinance 903; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 903, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing which was held May 11, <br />2020; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed chicken coop will be located within a City drainage and <br />utility easement whereas an agreement shall be signed by both the applicant and the City <br />of Mounds View; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Chicken/Duck Keeping License for Jessica Lee and Kjel Farr, 2817 <br />County Road H2, for no more than eight chickens or eight ducks or a combination of both; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this license is effective from May 13, 2020 to <br />December 31, 2021 and shall be renewed annually. <br />Adopted this 11 th day of May, 2020. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />The I'? ol: ;:cls View Vision <br />�l Thrivirn- DesilwNe CommttaTifir <br />Carol A.
