Any implementation projects will need to comply with applicable RCWD and state rules. For capital improvement projects, the City will continue to rely on its detailed 5-year capital improvement planning process to schedule and plan for funding these projects. The City creates its CIP on a five-year basis and will reassess priorities and the implementation schedule annually. For purposes of this LSWMP, the City is planning to spend an estimated $500,000 per year on stormwater system maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits for the period 2022-2028. The activities listed in Table 8.3 will be used as a reference for particular projects and activities specific to surface water management to be included in the capital improvement planning process. Potential funding sources for the activities are listed in Section 8.6; no specific mix of funding sources has yet been determined for individual projects. It should be noted that the activities identified in Table 8.3 are listed chronologically by activity category. A number of projects identified as corrective actions in Table 6.3 are for future implementation and are not scheduled within the City's 5-year capital improvement plan, and no cost estimates have yet been developed.
