RESOLUTION NO 9327 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE HIRE OF ANDREW THOMAS TO <br />PARK AND RECREATION SUPERINTENDENT <br />WHEREAS, Council recommended approval of the City operating a Park and <br />Recreation Department; and <br />WHEREAS, staff created a job description for the Park and Recreation <br />Superintendent which has been reviewed and has the following pay range: <br />Step 1 <br />Step 1.5 <br />Step 2 <br />Step 3 <br />Step 4 <br />Step 5 <br />31.02 <br />31.99 <br />32.96 <br />34.90 <br />36.84 <br />38.78 <br />WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Superintendent position has been <br />offered to Andrew Thomas who has worked at the Mounds View Community Center <br />for the past Four (4) years; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Thomas has agreed to accept the position with a hire date of <br />October 31, 2020 at Step 2. <br />WHEREAS, after a successful six (6) month probationary period, Mr. Thomas <br />would advance to Step 3 on April 30, 2021, Step 4 on April 30, 2022, and Step 5 on <br />April 30, 2023. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, hereby approves the Park and Recreation Superintendent Job <br />Description Exhibit A (attached) and authorizes Staff to complete the hire of Andrew <br />Thomas with a beginning date of October 31, 2020. <br />Adopted this 26t" day of October, 2020. <br />Carol A.
