RESOLUTION 9331 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZE SANITARY SEWER LINE REPAIRS - CIPP <br />WHEREAS, Inspection of the sanitary sewer system it was discovered a section <br />of sanitary sewer main line that requires immediate repairs due cracking and potential <br />pipe failure; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff determined that the best method for the necessary repair was to <br />install CIPP (cure -in -place -pipe); and <br />WHEREAS, Staff contacted two contractors to provide a quote to facilitate the <br />repairs: <br />• Visu-Sewer <br />• Insituform <br />$29,054.00 <br />$25,655.70 <br />WHEREAS, the funding for these repairs is budgeted in the Sanitary Sewer fund, <br />730-4823-7050, which includes $175,000.00 for the sewer pipe relining program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The City hereby approves the quote from Insituform of St. Paul, MN, for <br />$25,655.70 for lining of the Sanitary Sewer Main line in the City of Mounds <br />View. <br />2. Funding will be from the Sanitary Sewer Fund, 730-4823-7050. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4.
