CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chair Dennis Farmer called the meeting to order at approximately 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Members Present: Chair, Dennis Farmer, Vice Chair, Jason Helgemoe, Commissioners, Jim <br />Freichels, Gary Stevenson, & Dan Larson <br />Members Absent: Teresa Muckala <br />Staff Present: Assistant City Administrator, Brian Beeman <br />Meeting Attendees: Dennis Ericson (Resident) & Gary Meehlhause (Council Member) <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 21, 2019, AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Freichels moved and Commissioner Stevenson seconded the <br />approval of the November 21, 2019 EDC agenda. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes, 0 Nays <br /> <br />5. APPROVAL OF MARCH 15, 2019, EDC MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Stevenson moved and Commissioner Larson seconded the <br />approval of the March 15, 2019 EDC minutes. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes, 0 Nays <br /> <br />6. EDC BUSINESS <br /> <br />Resignation of Teresa Muckala <br /> <br />Chair Dennis Farmer announced that Commissioner Teresa Muckala resigned because she <br />moved outside of Mounds View and is no longer considered a resident of Mounds View. Farmer <br />stated his appreciation of Muckala’s participation and activity on the Commission. <br /> <br />Recommendations for New Commissioners <br /> <br />Chair Farmer announced the Commissioner openings for the EDC for 2020 stating that there was <br />one Business Representative opening to fill the open seat from Ken Breske’s resignation and one <br />application from Lisa Marquis. Farmer informed the Commission that there was two Resident <br />seats available and three applicants for those seats. Current member Dan Larson is reapplying to <br />his seat. The EDC voted silently and Assistant City Administrator Brian Beeman tabulated the <br />results. Beeman announced that Dan Larson and Gary Rundle won the most votes for the <br />Resident Representative seats. <br />
