Advisory Comments:
• The text on page 5‐9 should be revised to the following "Mounds
View is within the Metropolitan Transit Taxing District Transit Capital
Levy District, Market Area III."
• On Figure 5‐3, on page 5‐10, the following should be revised:
O Remove Routes 252, 288, and 955 from the map.
■ Routes 252 and 288 do not serve stops in Mounds View. They
operate on l‐35W on the eastern edge of the City.
■ Route 955 is a State Fair route, which does not travel along
Mounds View Boulevard as indicated on the map. This route travels
nonstop from the l‐35W & 95th Avenue Park‐and‐Ride in Blaine to
the State Fair, making no stops in Mounds View.
O Figure 5‐3 shows four "Park & Ride Lot" symbols in southeast
Mounds View. The two dots west of Mounds View Boulevard are
associated with the former Mermaid Supper Club Park‐and‐Ride,
which was closed in 2018. The northern‐most dot is associated with
the Bethlehem Baptist Church, which temporarily served as a park‐
and‐ride in 2016 when the County Road H Park‐and‐Ride was closed
during interchange construction. Today, the County Road H Park‐
and‐Ride is the only park‐and‐ride facility in Mounds View and
should be the only "Park & Ride Lot" shown in Figure 5‐3.

Text on page 5‐9 has been revised as
suggested
Figure 5‐3 has been adjusted as
requested to remove routes 252,288 and
955. Figure 5‐3 also shows only 1 park
and ride (County Road H park and ride).
Comment Response
Provide an electronic map or maps (GIS shape files or equivalent)
showing the existing sanitary sewer system, including lift stations,
the existing connection points to the metropolitan disposal system,
future connection points for new growth (if applicable), local sewer
service districts by connection point, and intercommunity
connections.
• It is the Council's understanding that there are areas of Mounds
View that are provided wastewater service through connections to
adjacent community systems, and areas within adjacent
communities that are provided wastewater service through
connection(s) with the Mounds View system. The GIS map files need
to identify the location of these intercommunity connection points
and those areas within Mounds View that are served through a
connection with the adjacent community.
In Appendix D, Map 1, Sanitary Sewer
System, shows the MCES Interceptor
system through the City, along with
existing and proposed future connections
to the MCES system. Intercommunity
connections are also shown on this map.
The map has been submitted as both a
pdf and shapefiles.
Wastewater (Requested changes submitted to Roger Janzig via email on 9/16/2020)
For all Wastewater comments see Appendix D ‐ Comprehensive Sewer Plan
