Attached is Resolution <br />9352, which authorizes severance to Officer Heineman in accordance with the City's Personnel Manual. <br />Discussion <br />Section 2.12 of the Personnel Manual indicates that employees who resign shall be compensated for any <br />accrued and unused vacation hours and, with two (2) or more years of service, employees are eligible to <br />receive a payout of sick leave subject to the terms and provisions addressed in Section 2.11 regarding <br />the Retirement Health Savings Plan.
