Staff Report Resolution 9385 Continued <br />• Equipment and Options <br />(Dump body, plows, lights, controls, etc) <br />• Dump Truck and Equipment <br />• 2021 Budget <br />Balance <br />$123, 800.00 <br />Sub -total $197,032.00 <br />$200,000.00 <br />$2,968.00 <br />The 2021 Vehicle and Equipment, 460-4470-7040, has $200,000.00 budgeted for this <br />dump truck purchase. <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: Maintain and Plan for Infrastructure Improvements. <br />Financial Impact: No Impact to the 2021 Budget as funds are budgeted in the Vehicle <br />and Equipment Fund, account 460-4470-7040, with a budget of $200,000.00 for this <br />purchase. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff is recommending that the City Council approve the purchase of 2021 Mack <br />GR42BR from Nuss Truck & Equipment off the State contract in the amount of <br />$95,232.00.00 for this truck. Transfer and license fees not included. <br />Staff also recommends that the City Council approve the purchase of equipment and <br />options for the 2021 Mack Dump Truck including a dump body, front plow and wing, <br />under body plow, lights and cab controls under the State contract from Towmaster <br />Truck Equipment in the amount of $123,800.00, for the purchase and installation of <br />these items. <br />Staff also recommends that the City Council approve the trade-in of the 2004 Ford <br />Sterling L-8500 800 Series Dump Truck to Nuss Truck & Equipment at a credit value of <br />$22,000.00. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Don Peterson <br />Director of Public Works/Parks and Recreation <br />Resolution 9385 <br />
