REPORTS <br />6 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />7 <br />8 Council Member Meehlhause stated the Mounds View Police Foundation would be meeting on <br />9 Tuesday, February 9th. He explained he would be attending three different NYFS meetings next <br />10 week. <br />11 <br />12 Council Member Meehlhause complimented Jenny Nelson for doing a tremendous job on <br />13 updating the City's website. <br />14 <br />15 Council Member Meehlhause discussed the HOP program and noted he recently had his sewer <br />16 Line inspected by a Paul Bunyan. He encouraged other Mounds View residents to be proactive <br />17 and go through this process to better understand the condition of their sewer line. <br />18 <br />19 Mayor Mueller stated she attended two different LMC trainings last week and would be attending <br />20 a third session this week. <br />21 <br />22 Mayor Mueller commented she would be attending a Ramsey County League of Local <br />23 Government meeting on Friday, February 12th and would be attending the Minnesota Women in <br />24 City Government on Friday, February 19th <br />25 <br />26 B. Reports of Staff. <br />27 <br />28 Assistant City Administrator Beeman explained he has been in contact with a broker that is <br />29 looking for an auto parts retail store. He indicated a list of potential sites was provided to the <br />30 broker and he was waiting to hear back. <br />31 <br />32 Assistant City Administrator Beeman commented he was in contact with MWF today and they <br />33 have reviewed the draft preliminary development agreement. He stated on February 22" d this <br />34 preliminary agreement would be considered by the EDA. He reported a closed meeting may be <br />35 rescheduled in the near future to consider the BioClean property purchase. <br />36 <br />37 Mayor Mueller suggested the Closed Session Meeting be held after the February 22" d City <br />38 Council meeting. Assistant City Administrator Beeman commented he would speak with staff <br />39 and Nine North to work out the details. <br />40 <br />41 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson commented on the HOP program and <br />42 noted staff has been creating a map to note the homes that are in critical need of having their <br />43 lines rehabilitated. He explained the homes built from 1955 to 1956 need the most work done in <br />44 the clay sections of the pipe near the street. He reported staff was working on a direct mail for <br />45 homes built in that timeframe to inform them of the sewer line concerns. <br />
