Lakeside Park: Proposed Trail on the North side of the Park: Proposed by SLP: remove <br />"Life Guard on Duty" sign, adding nature interpretive signs, modify other signage at the <br />park. Need to work with SLP Park Commission about overall changes and costs with <br />respect to the Joint Powers Agreement. Direct Staff to investigate how future items <br />should be handled at Lakeside Park between SLP and MV, and to clarify roles between <br />the two cities regarding changes and improvements. <br />B. Vision of the Park and Recreation Program (YMCA). What is the vision of the PRF <br />Commission if the MVCC recreation program comes back to the City instead of <br />contracting with YMCA? To be discussed at City Council Work Session on September 8, <br />and at PRF joint meeting with City Council on Sept. 24. <br />9. COMMISSIONER REPORTS: Kroeger: MV Resident FaceBook page comments about city <br />parks. Comments about people not picking up dog droppings, and littering; and those that do pick <br />up trash along the trailways. Is there a policy from a City perspective for the Staff to respond to <br />these comments? Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator, says there is no policy for the City to respond. <br />It is complicated because it is not administered by the City.
