Ensure Clean <br />Water and Maintenance. <br />Financial Impact: No financial Impact to the 2021 Budget. The 2021 Water Fund budgeted <br />estimate of $3,816,000.00 for Water Treatment Plant and Engineering Design. <br />Recommendation: <br />Public Works Staff along with AE2S recommends the City Council approve the attached resolution <br />awarding the construction contract to Municipal Builders Inc, Inc. of Nowthen, MN. For the Water <br />Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Project Plant #1 including the Alternates #1 and #2 for a cost of <br />$1,827,000.00. Public Works Staff also recommends the Council approve a contract with AE2S <br />for additional engineering costs for the construction phase as well the installation and <br />programming of the new SCADA software at a cost of $297,850.00.
