Resolution 9419 Continued <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The bid proposal submitted by Municipal Builders inc. of Nowthen, MN with a base bid of <br />$1,779,000.00, Alternate 1 of $28,000.00, Alternate #2 of $20,000.00 for a total amount of <br />$1,827,000.00 for the Water Treatment Rehabilitation Project Plant 1. <br />2. City Council authorizes staff to have a construction contract drafted as outlined by AE2S in <br />the project manual. <br />3. Accepts the Additional Construction Phase Services and Programing of the new SCADA <br />software from AE2S for $297,850.00. <br />4. Approves a construction contingency of 5% or $91,350.00 for any unforeseen issues that <br />arise during the rehabilitation. The Director of Public Works is authorized to make approvals <br />related to contract modifications during construction of the Project following the City of <br />Mounds View Purchasing Policy on behalf of the City Council. <br />5. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br />appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br />6. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed <br />to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to <br />accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 12th day of April, 2021 <br />Carol A.
