Item 08A <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />In previous years, the properties had code violations (2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019), most <br />commonly related to exterior storage, trash & debris, and an unenclosed dumpster. In 2015, <br />more significant violations found related to interior water damage at 2081 Hillview Road. <br />Analysis: <br />A Rental Dwelling License is required, if units are to be occupied.Z A license may be <br />suspended, revoked, denied, or not renewed, if the property or license holder fails to comply <br />with corrective orders, or is found to be in violation of any other code provision.3 The City has <br />issued several corrective orders since January 2021, and most recently on May 19, 2021 (see <br />attached). Upon re -inspections, most corrections were not completed. <br />Notice of this Public Hearing, and a web link to this remote meeting was provided to Ms. Bui via <br />US mail, dated June 2, 2021. Staff received verbal confirmation from Ms. Bui on June 81h that it <br />was received. <br />A re -inspection is scheduled for Thursday, June 101h for compliance with the May 1911 corrective <br />orders.
