Council Updates <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause provided the Planning Commission with an update from the City <br />Council. He reported the Council approved the second reading and adoption of an ordinance <br />regarding drive-thru businesses. He noted the Council approved the preliminary plat for the <br />Caribou Cabin and provided feedback on the Skyline property concept plan. He discussed the <br />trail along the northern and southern sides of Mounds View Boulevard. He stated the Council <br />discussed developing a forgivable loan program for new businesses at a recent worksession <br />meeting. He indicated the Council was looking to form a task force in order to draft plans for a <br />tribute/memorial park in Mounds View. <br /> <br />D. Planning Commissioner Reports <br /> <br />Chair Rundle reported Festival in the Park would be held on Friday, August 20, and Saturday, <br />August 21. <br /> <br /> <br />7. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />July 7 , 2021. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Stevenson/Commissioner Nelson. To approve the Minutes <br />of the July 7, 2021 regular Planning Commission meetings as presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 6 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />July 21, 2021. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Nelson/Commissioner Munson.
