Mounds View City Council August 9, 2021 <br />Regular Meeting Page 6 <br />1 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson reported work on the water treatment plants <br />2 wrapping up. <br />3 <br />4 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson stated he was thankful for the small amount <br />5 of rain the City has received. She reported the Citizen of the Year Award will be presented to the chosen candidate <br />at the Town Hall Meeting on September 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mounds View Event Center. <br />Mayor Mueller and Acting Mayor Hull supported Candidate A. <br />Council Member Bergeron, Council Member Cermak and Council Member Meehlhause supported <br />Candidate B. <br />City Administrator Zikmund explained Candidate B would be awarded the Citizen of the Year for <br />2021. <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested the Citizen of the Year from 2020 be invited to attend this <br />year's Town Hall meeting in order to be publicly recognized. <br />City Administrator Zikmund reported staff was scheduling a badge pinning ceremony for a <br />September meeting. <br />C.
