Human Resources Coordinator Ewald stated the City had taken nominations for Citizen of the Year and explained staff was seeking direction from the City Council as to which candidate should be selected. She reported the Citizen of the Year Award will be presented to the chosen candidate at the Town Hall Meeting on September 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mounds View Event Center. Mayor Mueller and Acting Mayor Hull supported Candidate A. Council Member Bergeron, Council Member Cermak and Council Member Meehlhause supported Candidate B. City Administrator Zikmund explained Candidate B would be awarded the Citizen of the Year for 2021. Council Member Meehlhause requested the Citizen of the Year from 2020 be invited to attend this year's Town Hall meeting in order to be publicly recognized. City Administrator Zikmund reported staff was scheduling a badge pinning ceremony for a September meeting. C. Reports of City Attorney. There was nothing additional to report. 10.
