Attachment I
• We bought here over 40 years ago because this two -block street is like country living in the
city and we want to keep it that way. This is a Mounds View treasure that should remain the
way it is.
• Can the street just be repaired? No trail, No walk, no gutters or curbs?
• If you are putting a path in, please put it on the west side of the road. Do not touch my lilacs
• Yes, many. I strongly oppose as do many of my neighbors. It's unnecessary, a waste of
taxpayer money, and a tragedy to cut down long-standing oak trees.
• We are concerned about the proposed project. Residents on our street love the tree
coverage and would be deeply disappointed to see our old trees cut down. Our road has a
homey feel that drew us to the property when we purchased. Please don't change it.
• Lane widening as well as curb and gutter, are enough for this roadway. Sidewalks,
Boulevards, Parking lanes, are DEFINITELY NOT needed for the couple of blocks south if Co.
Rd. I. Loss of Trees in and out of the right-of-way would be Very significant.
• I strongly oppose the proposed addition of a multi -use trail and any widening of Spring Lake
Road, south of County I and north of County H2 for a number of reasons. Curb and gutter
and blacktop replacement would be a nice improvement.
• Do something about vehicles constantly running thru stop signs at Co. Rd. I & Spring Lake
Rd. if your going to put in a pedestrian trail or people will get injured or killed. Don't wait
until their are injuries!!!! Be proactive!
• the city should be planning projects that have the least impact on the existing environment
• I am concerned that my house will end up to close to the street and that my lakeshore will
be less accessible.
