Residents from Pleasant View Drive who spoke
35:15 Kimberly Oberg 8340 Pleasant View Drive — I have some unrelated questions to each other. When
is there a council meeting where this is on the agenda, we wanna go and find out it's not on the agenda,
can we have that address right now?
DP — When is it on the agenda — September 13tn and the work session on September the 7tn
KO - All right, so is the road situation is not sustainable the way it is right now, why do we only get one
option, though back in my school board meeting days when were told that were going to do, not asked
or given another option, what's the other option? I would like to see another option.
DP — We'll bring that forward to the city.
KO - I would like to see another option. It's not a choice if we don't have an option. It's a command.
Were we told about the mailbox thing, were we given a warning that we better not spend $200 in a
beautiful mailbox that we designed and now we have to be in these nasty looking little boxes to
conform? I spent $200 and endless amount of work engineering my box, the best dang box in the city;
and I want my box, sorry but I'm really upset. I just put it in two years ago. I'm also concerned, I live on
Pleasant View Drive and I understand, I went out and measured, we have 14 and 14, so that would be
more like 13 and a half, its close enough, I measured it, so I know what I am talking about and just
listening to people tell me what I should think, not that you're doing that. But I like to know and I like to
come prepared — so 11 to 16' of my yard, is it going to be destroyed, is this an option is there like a
possible only 5', could you discuss the destruction that could happen.
DP — Is there a possibility, yes that does not mean we are going to go right to the edge of the property
line. Within that ROW that is 50 to 60 or 70' that is the area that we do have to work in but that does
not mean we are going to take the full width.
KO - Well that's good because I am concerned about that because I don't have a lot of front yard like , I
have a nice back yard with lots of beautiful trees and I do have one of the most beautiful trees in my
front yard and love it and its, it may get destroyed. Am I allowed to have another session at the mic as I
might be over my three minutes? 38:16
62:30 — Kim Oberg 8340 Pleasant View Drive — I have a clarification question — You were asked about
why is the trail/sidewalk going in, you said 5 or 6 people asked, the key is; did they ask about whether
there would be sidewalks or they asked for sidewalks. Because if I asked will there be sidewalks, I'm not
affirming I want sidewalks, I am asking will there be sidewalks. Can you clarify what those 5 or 6 people
said?
DP — Yes, they asked if we were including sidewalks in the project.
KO - But they did not say I want sidewalks?
DP — A few of them did say they want sidewalks.
KO - How many people are represented/homes in Spring Lake Park Road, in the plan.
17
