RESOLUTION NO. 9486 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING MOU LEASE COST SHARING AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE MOUNDS VIEW POLICE FOUNDATION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has strategic goals of community engagement and <br />being a welcoming and progressive community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council set forth challenges to the police department to increase <br />community engagement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Foundation has been a strong supporter and <br />partners of the Police Department and the City of Mounds View as exampled by their funding o <br />the two canines; and <br />WHEREAS, the COP House model has exceeded all expectations in the two models <br />studied, Racine, WI and St. Cloud, MN. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota that the City Approves entering into an MOU with the Mounds View <br />Police Foundation to provide $700 per month towards the lease of the COP House located in <br />Colonial Village. <br />Adopted this 8t" day of November, 2021 <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Carol A.
