Mounds View City Council November 22, 2021 <br />Regular Meeting Page 8 <br />1 Council Member Meehlhause inquired if the developer was also pursuing conduit bond financing <br />2 for this project. Assistant City Administrator Beeman stated the developer was pursuing this <br />3 financing and was hoping to have it secured in the first quarter of 2022. <br />4 <br />5 Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 8:04 p.m. <br />6 <br />7 Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 8:05 p.m. <br />s <br />9 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9498, <br />10 Adopting Modification to Redevelopment Plan and Establishing TIF District No. 1-7 (Villas of <br />1 1 Mounds View) and Adopting a TIF Plan. <br />12 <br />13 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />14 <br />15 G. Resolution 9503, Authorizing the Conveyance of City of Mounds View <br />16 Property to the Mounds View Economic Development Authority. <br />17 <br />18 Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the Council authorize the conveyance of City of <br />19 Mounds View property to the Mounds View Economic Development Authority. It was noted this <br />20 same action was taken with the Boulevard project. <br />21 <br />22 City Attorney Riggs reported it made the most sense to have all four properties under one name, <br />23 which would make the platting and the development more simple going forward. <br />24 <br />25 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9503, <br />26 Authorizing the Conveyance of City of Mounds View Property to the Mounds View Economic <br />27 Development Authority. <br />28 <br />29 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />30 <br />31 H. Resolution 9493, Approving Various Appointments to the City of Mounds <br />32 View's Boards, Commissions and Committees. <br />33 <br />34 City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve various appointments to the City of <br />35 Mounds View's Boards, Commissions and Committees. He discussed the proposed appointments <br />36 and recommended approval. <br />37 <br />38 Council Member Meehlhause reviewed the appointments in detail for the record. <br />39 <br />40 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9493, <br />41 Approving Various Appointments to the City of Mounds View's Boards, Commissions and <br />42 Committees. <br />43 <br />44 Council Member Bergeron stated he was disappointed in the lack of new faces and female faces. <br />45 City Administrator Zikmund reported the Parks Commission has two new members with both <br />46 being female. <br />
