REPORTS <br />15 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />16 <br />17 Council Member Cermak reported she recently attended via Zoom a Ramsey County League of <br />18 Local Government meeting where NAMI presented. She commented on the matters that were <br />19 discussed by this organization, which included the growing needs of the homeless in the suburbs. <br />20 <br />21 Council Member Cermak explained the Mounds View Police Foundation would meet next on <br />22 Tuesday, December 7 at 4:30 p.m. at Random Park. <br />23 <br />24 Council Member Meehlhause stated he attended a Twin Cities Gateway Board meeting last week <br />25 where the 2022 budget was approved. He noted the City of Arden Hills has joined this <br />26 organization. <br />27 <br />28 Council Member Meehlhause reported he would be attending an NYFS Board meeting on <br />29 Thursday, December 2. He noted this group would be searching for a new Executive Director as <br />30 the current Executive Director has decided to step down due for personal reasons. <br />31 <br />32 Council Member Bergeron thanked Council Member Cermak for her comments regarding the <br />33 homeless in the suburbs. He discussed how homelessness was a growing concern for people, even <br />34 in the suburbs. <br />35 <br />36 Council Member Bergeron wished everyone a safe and blessed Thanksgiving. <br />37 <br />38 Mayor Mueller stated the Minnesota Women in Government held an event last Friday on 101 years <br />39 of women's suffrage. <br />40 <br />41 Mayor Mueller reported the Santa Parade would be held on Thursday, December 9. <br />42 <br />43 Mayor Mueller explained after 30 years of service, Shoreview's City Administrator Terry <br />44 Schwerin would be having a retirement celebration on Thursday, December 9 from 3:00 p.m. to <br />45 6:00 p.m. <br />46 <br />
