Community Development Director Sevald reported received no <br />3 comments regarding this matter. <br />4 <br />5 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt <br />6 Ordinance 985, Amending the Zoning Map for Properties at 4889 Old Highway 8 and 4943 Old <br />7 Highway 8 directing staff to publish an Ordinance summary. <br />8 <br />9 ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Cermak/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. <br />10 <br />11 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />12 <br />13 C. Public Hearing: Resolution 9496, Approving the Preliminary/Final Plat of <br />14 Skyline. <br />15 <br />16 Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council approve the Preliminary/Final <br />17 Plat for the Skyline property, which would become the Villas of Mounds View. It was noted a <br />18 small portion of land was also being set aside for BioClean. The park dedication fees that would <br />19 be paid to the City for the land sale was reviewed with the Council and staff recommended <br />20 approval of the Plat. <br />21 <br />22 Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. <br />23 <br />24 Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:26 p.m. <br />25 <br />26 Mayor Mueller asked what direction the Planning Commission gave regarding this request. <br />27 Community Development Director Sevald reported the Planning Commission recommended <br />28 approval of the Preliminary/Final Plat. He noted most of the discussion held by the Planning <br />29 Commission had focused on the PUD. <br />30 <br />31 MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9496, <br />32 Approving the Preliminary/Final Plat of Skyline. <br />33 <br />34 Council Member Meehlhause noted $425,000 in park dedication fees would be paid to the City for <br />35 this project, which would be the second largest fee paid to the City. He noted these dollars could <br />36 be used for capital improvements within the City's parks. <br />37 <br />38 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />39 <br />40 D. Public Hearing: Resolution 9497, Planned Unit Development; and <br />41 Development Review for The Villas of Mounds View at 4889 Old Highway 8 <br />42 and 4943 Old Highway 8. <br />43 <br />44 Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council approve a Planned Unit <br />45 Development and Development Review for The Villas of Mounds View at 4889 Old Highway 8 <br />46 and 4943 Old Highway 8.
