MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />Juneteenth holiday recognition <br />This Memorandum of Understanding is made between Law Enforcement Labor <br />Services, Local 232 - Mounds View Sergeants ("Union") and the City of Mounds View <br />("City.") <br />WHEREAS, the Union and the City are parties to a collective bargaining <br />agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the collective bargaining agreement does not contain a provision to <br />compensate Union membersfor an additional paid holiday (Juneteenth); and <br />WHEREAS, the holiday has been officially recognized by the City of Mounds <br />View and with such recognition it needs to be compensated as other like holidays. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree that each Union member will receive one <br />additional paid Holiday equal to 10.5 hours, if a member is assigned to work on this <br />holiday, they shall receive an extra one-half of pay for any hours worked. <br />In witness whereof, the parties have executed this Memorandum of <br />Understanding on the 24t" day of January, 2022. <br />LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR <br />SERVICES, INC. <br />Tim Gannon, Business Agent <br />Sergeant Timothy Wolf, Steward <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />Carol A.
