Mounds View City Council January 24, 2022 <br />Regular Meeting Page 6 <br /> <br />Agreement with Arden Hills, Ramsey County and Met Council for the TCAAP (Twin Cities Army <br />Ammunition) Site. He discussed the sewer line that runs from TCAAP to Mounds View and noted <br />the Met Council has now agreed to take over the metering station that was in Mounds View. Staff <br />commented further on the proposed agreement, noting all three parties had come together to <br />recommend approval. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9543, <br />Approving a Sewer Use Agreement with Arden Hills, Ramsey County and Met Council for the <br />TCAAP (Twin Cities Army Ammunition) Site. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was taken (Council Member Cermak did not vote). <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />F. Resolution 9544, Approving a Proposal from Stantec Engineering Services for <br />a Storm Water Assessment. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council approve a Proposal <br />from Stantec Engineering Services for a Storm Water Assessment. He explained the City has been <br />discussing this project for the past year. He commented in 2021 staff was approved to go out for <br />an RFP that would assess the overall condition of the City’s entire stormwater system. He reported <br />this report would assist staff in drafting a CIP for the next 10+ years. He noted an RFP was sent to <br />three different firms, two responded. Staff recommended the Council approve a proposal with <br />Stantec for the stormwater assessment. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund discussed the differences between the two bids that were submitted. <br />He indicated Barr Engineering was not available to complete the task for the City. He commented <br />on how competitive engineering rates were at this time and discussed how valuable this assessment <br />would be for the City. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9544, <br />Approving a Proposal from Stantec Engineering Services for a Storm Water Assessment. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he supported this assessment and noted it would assist the <br />City Council in further assessing the stormwater infrastructure in the community. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was taken. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Cermak reported the Mound View Police Foundation would be moving forward <br />with the Daddy Daughter Dance scheduled for Saturday, February 5. <br />
