The approved wage was <br />$16.00 per hour working 20 hours per week. <br />Discussion: <br />Staff received only one application for the position as posted. Unfortunately the candidate was <br />not a fit. At this time, staff is requesting to increase the wage to $20.00 per hour and the hours to <br />29 hours per week, hoping this will attract candidates. <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: <br />This addresses the City Council goal to set clear goals and responsibilities for City staff. <br />Financial Impact: <br />$16.00 per hour @ 20 per week is a budgeted item.
