Resolution 9567, Approving 2021 Coach of the Year. <br />9 <br />10 Human Resource Director Ewald requested the Council adopt a Resolution approving the 2021 <br />11 Coach of the Year. She explained the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission voted on this <br />12 matter and recommended Bobby Hurt as the 2021 Coach of the Year. <br />13 <br />14 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 988, Amending City Code <br />21 Chapter § 161 related to Dynamic Displays. ROLL CALL VOTE <br />22 <br />23 Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council adopt an Ordinance related to <br />24 dynamic displays. He stated dynamic displays refer to digital signs noting they would now be <br />25 allowed in the Industrial zoning district and at drive thru restaurants. Staff commented further on <br />26 the proposed language changes and recommended approval. <br />27 <br />28 Todd Rachel, 2159 Mustang Drive, explained he was the owner of Bauer Welding in Mounds <br />29 View. He reported his company has been in operation in the community for the past 75 years. He <br />30 commented on how his business would benefit by having a dynamic display sign. <br />31 <br />32 MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Hull. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 989, Amending City Code <br />41 Chapter 160.167(F) related to Outdoor Vending Kiosks. ROLL CALL VOTE <br />42 <br />43 Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council adopt an ordinance related to <br />44 outdoor vending kiosks. He explained the only type of outdoor vending kiosks that are allowed <br />45 right now dispense movies and games. He reported the City had been approached by a company <br />46 that would like to provide an outdoor vending that does not issue movies or video games, but rather <br />
