RESOLUTION NO.9587 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF AN APEX VIRTUAL REALITY SIMMULATOR AND <br />ACCEPTANCE OF THE RAMSEY COUNTY UASI GRANT <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department applied for and was awarded <br />the 2021 UASI grant through Ramsey County and Homeland Security, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department constantly trains and looks to <br />improve our competency and improved service to our citizens; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department is in immediate need to <br />purchase the simulator and be subsequently reimbursed by the county, <br />WHEREAS, Apex Virtual Reality simulator is priced at $47,500.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to authorize the purchase of one Apex <br />Virtual Reality Simulator at an approximate cost of $47,500.00 2022 budget funded <br />from Account 480-4200-1230 and acceptance of the Ramsey County UASI grant. <br />Adopted this 91h day of May 2022. <br />Carol A.
