RESOLUTION NO. 9583 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />EMILEAH MOST, 5359 JACKSON DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 903 which allows limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br />Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Emileah Most has submitted an application with an approved site plan <br />and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on her property located at 5359 <br />Jackson Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it appears to meet all <br />requirements set forth in Ordinance 903; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 903, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held May 9, <br />2022; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby approve a chicken -keeping license for Emileah Most, 5359 Jackson <br />Drive, for no more than eight chickens or eight ducks or a combination of both; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this license is effective from May 10, 2022 to <br />December 31, 2022. <br />Adopted this 9th day of May, 2022 <br />Carol A.
