D. The Contractor expressly agrees to obey the verbal or written direction and <br />instruction of the Engineer, Inspector, or Owners Representative in determining <br />when the abrasive blasting operation may proceed or must be suspended due to <br />drift of dust, spent abrasive and paint chips outside the area of containment. <br />E. Screens used for containment shall be inspected and approved for use by the <br />Engineer, Inspector or Owner's Representative. Windscreens used for <br />containment shall be solid screens. They shall be UV -Stabilized, weather and <br />solvent resistant. <br />F. Disposal of Waste materials generated by the Contractor or his subcontractor(s) <br />will be as specified in 3.09 above. <br />G. Contractor shall provide submittal of the containment plan outlining all the details <br />in drawings, including equipment, tarps, and dust collection equipment. <br />H. The containment plan must be in conformance with this specification. Included in <br />the containment plan submittal are the engineering controls for the reduction, <br />removal, and control of lead dust for compliance with worker health and <br />environmental regulations. <br />L THE CONTAINMENT PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW AND <br />APPROVAL BY THE ENGINEER SEVEN (7) DAYS BEFORE THE <br />PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING.
