Mounds View City Council June 13, 2022 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller welcomed Scott Zimmer and Kusina to the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Jailin Zimmer, 2408 County Road I, explained she was an executive chef. <br /> <br />Scott Zimmer, 2408 County Road I, introduced himself to the Council and stated he was looking <br />forward to pursuing this new venture, along with his wife at the Filipino Village. He noted this <br />would be a take off from his food truck business. He anticipated a grand opening would happen in <br />mid-July. He discussed the Filipino based menu and stated he looked forward to bringing his wares <br />to the Mounds View community. <br /> <br />Council Member Bergeron welcomed the Zimmer’s to the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause wished the Zimmer’s much success on their new venture. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller encouraged the Zimmer’s to consider participating in Festival in the Park on <br />Saturday, August 20. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9601, <br />Approving a new Class B Restaurant License for Scott Zimmer dba Kusina at 2408 County Road <br />I. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 9598, Approving the Renewal of Mounds View Liquor Licenses 6 <br />month period. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the council approve the renewal of Mounds View liquor <br />licenses for a six-month license period. He reported the six-month period would allow the City to <br />move to yearly license renewals beginning in January of 2023. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller asked if the fire inspections had been completed for these businesses and <br />questioned if any of these businesses had outstanding utility bills. City Administrator Zikmund <br />reported both had been completed for each of these businesses. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Bergeron.
