Public Works Staff Report <br />Random Park: <br />Building Renovation: <br />• Staff is obtaining quotes for new tables, coat rack has been ordered. <br />• Contractor has been given the notice to proceed with the restoration of the basketball <br />co u rt. <br />• Contractor has started the work on the basketball court, old paint removed, low areas filled <br />and cracks sealed. Rainy weather is slowing progress. <br />• Staff will be painting later this summer, early fall. <br />• Basket Ball Court is completed <br />• Staff continued painting exterior of shelter building, East side needs to be completed in <br />2018. <br />• Table's selection made and ordered. <br />• Vandalism of front entry — discussion tonight. <br />City Hall Campus: <br />Irrigation & Landscaping Improvements: <br />• The CHPTF task force was created and meet to discuss the campus, the task force will be <br />meeting and bring information forward at a future PRF Commission Meeting, To be <br />discussed tonight. <br />• City Council discussed at the July 17 work session, plans are still to move forward with <br />construction in 2018. <br />• Playground equipment was approved and ordered. <br />• Received Splash Pad plans, contractor currently reviewing for installation costs. <br />• Discussion tonight - continue vision planning <br />Groveland Park: <br />Tennis/Basketball Court Rehabilitation (Design): <br />• acope: Evaluation, design, and binding documents for option selected, to be constructed <br />in 2016. <br />• Budget: $15,000 (Park Dedication Fund). <br />• Staff has received proposal to evaluate all the courts for a total of $3,000. This will be <br />brought forward to the City Council for approval. <br />• Council needs to approve going out for plans, specifications and quotes. Staff brining to <br />the November 27, 2017 Council meetina. <br />• Fred Kolkman working on plans and specs, a couple questions have been asked will be <br />discussed tonight. <br />2/3 <br />
