RESOLUTION NO. 9619 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />BECKY WHITEHEAD, 5209 JEFFERY DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 903, which amended Chapter 701 <br />of the Municipal Code to provide limited and controlled raising and keeping of chickens <br />and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Becky Whitehead has submitted an application with an approved site <br />plan and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on the property located at 5209 <br />Jeffery Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the property owner, Laura Maldonado, has authorized issuance of this <br />license to the renter, Becky Whitehead; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it appears to meet all <br />requirements set forth in Ordinance 903; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 903, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held August 22, <br />2022. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Chicken -Keeping License for Becky Whitehead, 5209 Jeffery Drive, for <br />no more than eight chickens or eight ducks or a combination of both. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this license is effective from August 23, 2022 <br />to December 31, 2022. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of August, 2022. <br />Carol A.
