RESOLUTION NO. 9627 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING REVISIONS TO THE JOB DESCRIPTION AND AUTHORIZING A <br />RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR THE ARBORIST / PARKS MAINTENANCE <br />POSITION <br />WHEREAS, City of Mounds View Arborist/Parks Maintenance employee Daniel <br />Wattenhofer resigned effective September 16, 2022; and, <br />WHEREAS, staff reviewed the job description and made minor changes; and <br />WHEREAS, according to Article 19 Job Posting of the Public Works Labor <br />Agreement, job vacancies within the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit are to be <br />posted for five (5) working days so that employees may be considered for the vacancy; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, only after the vacancy is posted for five (5) working days and no <br />response or qualified candidates are received will the vacancy be posted externally, using <br />the City's 2022 Hourly Pay Plan: <br />2022 Arborist/Parks Maintenance Hourly Pay Plan <br />Level A <br />Level B <br />Level C <br />$31.23 <br />$32.97 <br />$34.70 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the revisions to the Arborist/Parks Maintenance Job Description and Authorizes <br />Staff to advertise for the Arborist/Parks Maintenance position. <br />Adopted this 12th day of September, 2022 <br />Carol A.
