To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9629, <br />Authorizing Certification of the Preliminary General Fund Budget and Preliminary Property Tax <br />Levy for Fiscal Year 2023. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller reported earlier today she attended a Mayors/Administrator meeting where <br />proposed tax levies were discussed. She reviewed the numbers that were presented which ranged <br />from 6% to 13% due to raising inflation and personnel costs. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 9630, Approving the Preliminary EDA Property Tax Levy Request <br />and Budget for Fiscal Year 2023. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer requested the Council approve the preliminary EDA Property Tax Levy <br />Request and Budget for Fiscal Year 2023. It was noted the EDA levy would be for $100,000. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9630, <br />Approving the Preliminary EDA Property Tax Levy Request and Budget for Fiscal Year 2023. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D. PUBLIC HEARING: Resolution 9631, Consider Approving the Suspension of <br />a Therapeutic Massage Therapist License. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the suspension of a Therapeutic <br />Massage Therapist License. He explained this concern was brought forward by the City Attorney <br />and there was a desire to consider a suspension. He reported the Police Department has investigated <br />this matter and the County Attorney would be charging it. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 7:36 p.m. <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:36 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9631, <br />Consider Approving the Suspension of a Therapeutic Massage Therapist License. <br /> <br />Council Member Bergeron stated he supported the suspension of this license due to the seriousness <br />of the allegations against the license holder. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9.
