Staff Report Resolution 9650 Continued <br />• New wood fiber and wear mat for a cost of $13,131.42 with the additional <br />installation cost of $6,623.00. <br />• GT Shade Canopy for a cost of $14,980.56 with the installation cost of $7,481.44 <br />additionally a 28'x28' concrete pad will be needed at a cost of $22,462.00. <br />• Additional picnic tables, trash receptacles and benches for the cost of $14,653.00. <br />• Total project cost of $282,818.00 <br />Minnesota/Wisconsin Playground is on the US Communities Government Purchasing <br />Alliance, similar to the State Cooperative Venture, and has furnished and installed <br />previous playground equipment in Mounds View in a satisfactory manner. <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: Maintain and Plan for Infrastructure Improvements and <br />Where Residents can work, live and play safely and show pride in the community. <br />Financial Impact: No Impact to the 2022 Budget. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff along with the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission is recommending <br />the City Council adopt attached resolution to accept quotes from Minnesota/Wisconsin <br />Playground for the purchasing of new playground equipment with additional various <br />components, infrastructure, and required installations for Greenfield Park at a cost of <br />$282,818.00. Staff also is recommending at 7% contingency of $19,797.19 for any <br />unforeseen issues that may arise during this project.
